Aww man this seems like it's going to be a good series, can't wait to see his journey and how the relationship of Qingxue and the MC will turn out. Will he be able to kill her when the time comes or will he grow feelings and their relationship blossom into a deadly but beautiful flower?! This will indeed get very complicated, I can already see the battles and trauma he'll have to face in the future, the hard decisions he'll have to eventually make or not, which means disrespecting and betraying his 1st master. And he's already starting off questioning if she's the woman his master warned him about and wants him to target. So it shows how he's already smitten by this fox, a fairy is what he revered her as (guess physical attraction/beauty wise) and letting us know how conflicted he's going to be with achieving his master's wishes and his experiences he has with her.

Being close to such a beauty like her would be damn near impossible to keep his inner beast in check (horniness lol) and cut off all emotions towards her, especially if she reciprocates those same romantic feelings smh. Shii, just trying to hate a woman who changed your life is a huge challenge itself, but then add on her turning into a confidante, a true friend, supporter, semi-mentor, potential lover/wife who'll probably end up admiring him and trusts him with her life and more; basically everything she becomes to him, he will probably be for her!! He'd have to be a heartless, emotionless, stone cold person denying all the moments he'll spend with her and literally make himself hate her to be able to go through with murdering her.

I think he won't be able to do it in the end and she'll find out his secrets, which will destroy her mentally & emotionally feeling betrayed and want to hate him but in the end can't succeed either. So they'll both be conflicted, being pulled in different directions and surrounded by people spewing negative thoughts in their heads to put them against each other. Maybe even a trilateral or more relationship (either him meeting another woman becoming intimate and/or Qingxue having multiple suitors trying to sabotage the MC's chances with her ruining everything they can like trying to kill him behind her back), causing even more strife rejecting their feelings for each other and an almost endless cycle of love & hate.

lol - that's quite the imagination you have got there just based on two episodes. I read the manga but it didn't get quite that far so I really don't know. But this is already significantly different from the manga. I don't know if this is closer to the original novel or if the manga is, but in the manga she saves him from being beaten to death by the her Fang family...before he gets his powers. However the anime doesn't quite do justice to how poorly he was really treated in the manga. The servants and many of the Fang family are rather dispicable. Later while out secretly training in the wilderness, he stumbles on her and the other guy who stole the elixir are fighting. They fight to a draw and both are lying on the ground helpless and both beg him to pick up a fallen sword and kill the other. Although he hates the Fang family, he decides to kill the other guy and spare the girl, just for that one moment of earlier kindness. Remember, this is all still before he gets the elixir and the secret manual. He takes the elixir for himself and swallows it! But since he has no inner cultivation, he is going to explode! Out of a sliver of gratitude for saving her by killing the other guy, the girl teaches him a cultivation method to absorb and assimilate the energy of the elixir and thus begins his journey. So, the manga has some pretty significant differences from this anime, but other than that everything else matches 100%.
